Client Spotlight - Jessica Chavez and BLOS

Jessica Chavez is the founder and owner of Business Ladies of Society, aka BLOS. As one of the largest women's networking groups in Washington State, big things are always in the works and our growth is unstoppable.

During Covid, Jessica decided to combine her passion of decorating her own home with the need for others to do the same, and created a business, Something Blue Home Styling & Co. However, she quickly realized that while she was creative, she wasn’t necessarily business savvy. She made a post in her local moms’ Facebook group, seeing if anyone was in a similar boat and wanted to get together and support each other. With no intentions of it going any further than that one meeting, everyone’s cup was filled and it was clear there was a need for networking amongst just women, a platform to showcase women’s businesses, and a source for business development. So, one event turned into two, two to many, and here we are today! BLOS hosts 1-3 events per month, ranging in networking, personal and business development, and engaging activities that promote members' businesses.

Jessica is highly driven by community involvement and individual authenticity. Those two things really make up the vibe and energy you will feel when you step into a BLOS event. Founded on the principles of community and collaboration over competition, taking care of the woman as a whole (both personal and in her business endeavors), providing opportunities and a platform for women to network and showcase their business, and a strong emphasis on building women up and nurturing their self worth and confidence, BLOS is really the one-stop-shop for women entrepreneurs!

Because Jessica loves to give back to the community and truly embraces her surroundings, she has served on the leadership team for her BNI chapter, in various leadership roles through her church, local athletics (cheerleading), serves on the committee for the InspireHer program through the Boys and Girls Club, Snohomish, and many other volunteer-based positions. As a California native, Jessica loves sunshine, the coast, and Disneyland. Jessica lives with her husband and four children in Lake Stevens, WA. When Jessica is not working hard for her BLOS ladies, she is obsessed with true crime documentaries, reading, traveling, attending Mariners' baseball games, and home decor.
